You can enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Christmas Market right up until Christmas Eve. All market cottages and restaurants will be open until Monday, 22 December, at 7:00 pm. Some cottages will remain open on 23 December, and the Christmas Market’s Glogg Restaurant will also be open on Christmas Eve.

On Tuesday, 23 December, the market cottages will be open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and the Glogg Restaurant from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. On Wednesday, 24 December, the Glogg Restaurant will be open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Open on 23 December: Kuplavohvelit, Hiekkakakku, Mähöne, Makeidon, Marjatila Tyrnikka, Pesosen Mehiläistarhat, Kauppahallin Kotiruoka, Ruoveden Herkut, Rolliz Rullapulla, House of Simone, and the Christmas Market Glogg Restaurant.
Open on 24 December: Christmas Market Glogg Restaurant.

After Christmas, on 25–26 December, the Christmas Market will remain a charming Christmas village, even though the market cottages and restaurants will be closed. Visitors can still enjoy the festive atmosphere and the beautiful winter lighting of Central Square. The buildings surrounding Central Square will be illuminated with winter lights until 7 January.

The opening of the Christmas Market will be celebrated on Saturday, November 29th.

25.11.2025 The official opening of the Christmas Market will take place on Saturday, 29 November. All market cottages will open their shutters at 11:00, and the festive opening ceremony will begin at 17:00 on the Christmas Market stage. This year’s programme features the dazzling vocal ensemble CALLA, Mayor Ilmari Nurminen, and of course the much-anticipated guest – Santa Claus with his elves. The evening will be hosted by the wonderful Salla Paajanen.

14.11.2025 Tampere Christmas Market will soon turn Central Square into a magical Christmas wonderland. The festivities begin on 22 November with the Glogg Restaurant, Pyynikki Doughnut Café, and selected stalls. From 29 November, the full market opens daily until 22 December and this year, you can even enjoy the atmosphere on Christmas Eve.

The beloved Christmas market will open its doors on Saturday, 22 November 2025, with selected stalls and restaurants starting operations.
