A real elf door has arrived at the Christmas Market – bring the whole family for an elf adventure!
A touch of familiar Christmas magic has returned to the Christmas Market this year—an enchanting little elf door has appeared in the market square. The search for the elf door ushers joy and excitement to children and adults alike, offering a perfect excuse to set off the festive adventure with family and friends.
To make the experience even more magical, the elf door will move to a new location four times throughout December, giving many visitors multiple chances to join the fun and enjoy the thrill of discovery.

• 10–13 December
• 14–17 December
• 18–20 December
A clue revealing the door’s next hiding spot will be shared on the Christmas Market’s social media channels one day before each search period begins. And to make things extra special, Santa himself provides the clues. You’re also welcome to search without hints—simply explore the Christmas Market and keep your eyes open.
Each search period concludes with a prize draw among everyone who finds the elf door. The prizes are curated from products offered by the Christmas Market’s vendors.
How to join the elf door prize draw:
- Take a photo of the elf door.
- Share the photo with the Christmas Market via Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok through direct messaging.
- All participants will be entered into the draw.
